Guy Ritchie has revealed the trailer for his new action comedy, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, which stars Henry Cavill leading the first special forces during World War 2.

The film is actually based on a true story, inspired by the 2014 book Churchill’s Secret Warriors: The Explosive True Story of the Special Forces Desperadoes of WWII. Ritchie obviously puts his own twist on the story with the aid of a cast that also includes Eiza González, Alan Ritchson, Alex Pettyfer, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Babs Olusanmokun, Henrique Zaga, and Til Schweiger, plus Henry Golding and Cary Elwes.

The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is set to hit theaters on April 19th, 2024 through Lionsgate. Watch the newly revealed trailer below.

This isn’t the only spy thriller starring Cavil that will hit theaters in the near future. This weekend sees the release of Matthew Vaughn’s Argylle, which stars Cavill alongside Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Rockwell, Bryan Cranston, and Dua Lipa.
